Prospective development comes into its fullest effect when it is converted into action, and with the taking of specific decisions. This calls for the ongoing pursuit of a common vision among the participants, mobilising the maximum number of players from all sectors. In this sense, the process of a prospective undertaking turns out to be at least as important as the final results.
CM International provides its clients with the different tools and methods for prospective action (the Delphi method, brainstorming, scenario methods, etc.) for large-scale projects (regional, national, and/or European) and of different natures.
Within the framework of its regional foresight operations, CM International seeks to apply a number of basic principles: Each territory has its own specific features which limit the reproduction of standardised methodologies. It is however possible to gain benefit from the experiences of other regions if the contexts are compatible.
CM International can provide guidance and assistance either in respect of specific points or on a global scale, in the four key stages of the prospective undertaking:

A foresight development may have different "profiles": Social, scientific and technological, economic and territorial. In general, a study is not limited to one single profile but combines them in a proportion appropriate to the context. On the basis of a territorial diagnostic procedure, and taking account of the political will and wishes with regard to development, CM International helps clients to define the field relating to the study and the objectives, within the framework of an iterative process.
