PROJECT : Transformational Business Support Strategy (East Midlands Development Agency)
Online Monday 30 July 2007

CM International was tasked with the development of a framework for supporting enterprise-led regeneration in the East Midlands. CMI's work encompassed the development an offer and determined the strategic and delivery approach by developing an understanding of how the regional business support framework would best help lever enterprise as a force for community cohesion and economic inclusion. CM International made recommendations indicating where initiatives should be targeted, and what they should be seeking to achieve - including their capacity to connect beneficiaries into mainstream business support.

PROJECT : Strategic Review of the Wales Spin Out Programme (Finance Wales)
Online Friday 25 May 2007

CM International conducted a strategic review of the Wales Spin-Out Programme for Finance Wales. This was undertaken in order to provide the client with a set of recommendations that would guide the development of the future role and contribution of the WSP and, in particular, its alignment and interaction with other programmes such as the Finance Wales Development Fund. This strategic review employed a range of research methods including: a documentary review; scoping interviews; the development and administration of an e-scorecard; interviews with beneficiaries and stakeholders; good practice case-studies; and the development of options and recommendations for the enhanced future delivery of the WSP.

PROJECT : Global Innovation Connections strategy (University of Nottingham)
Online Monday 30 April 2007

Contracted by the University of Nottingham, CM International developed a global innovation connections strategy for the East Midlands (GICEM) region in England. CM International was tasked with developing the strategy, intended to drive up the economic value of East Midlands connections with Zhejiang and capitalise on existing good practice in developing international innovation connections. To complement the strategy, we also developed a competency framework intended to help the University measure progress over time towards achieving the aims of the strategy, and emda to gauge the success of this pilot scheme.
